Why is there a waiting list?

This site is in a pre-launch stage undergoing testing. The reason we are doing this is to insure a smooth sign-up and implementation to make your experience as enjoyable as possible.

The keyword in this question is "similar".  We offer a true "family" experience with some features not available elsewhere.  More importantly however, is that our reason for being is not to drive as much traffic to the site as possible (by making it free) and then sell advertising using your data as our product.  Our product is to provide a service to you, your ancestors and your descendents and by charging for our service our obligation is to our members' experiences within our site.

Our first members will receive a discounted membership fee.  Our pricing is targeted to be less than $5 / month (an an annual basis).  Depending on your project shorter term memberships are available.

If I cancel, what happens to my files?

When you cancel your membership, you retain the ability to see and access your photos but you lose your ability to add photos or modify information.  (You can retrieve your photos at any time).

Just email us at waitinglist@ourbeehive.net expressing a desire to join or take advantage of the FREE TRIAL.  There is no obligation to join.  One week prior to launch we will send you an email where you can join (or decline to join) and the next person on the list will replace your name.  Once joining, memberships are payable monthly or annually by credit card.

What is your Hospice program?

Hospices are facilities whose existence places them at a point in time where it has never been more important to bring the family together.  Our special program offers the hospice a minimal licensing fee for perpetual use of a special version designed to help volunteers engage patients and their families in a meaningful way where the family leaves with a lasting gift from the hospice.  [Private label versions are available at an additional charge.]
